Profile of Robert Bevan
Robert Bevan received his PhD from Cardiff University and is Subject Leader for History at The Cathedral School, Llandaff. He is a historian of modern Russia with particular interest in Jewish life under Alexander III and Nicholas II, the 1917 revolutions, and the early Soviet state. His research examines how Jewish communities navigated political upheaval, state power, and shifting regimes between 1881 and 1924, with a focus on everyday experience and provincial life.
