To what extent do Germans with a migrant background in the former Soviet Union exhibit patriotic and/or nationalistic attachments towards Germany? Drawing on original data from a web-survey conducted Germany in 2025 (N = 500) this study is, to the best of the author's knowledge, the first that systematically investigates the nationalistic and patriotic attachments of Germans with a migrant background in the former Soviet Union towards Germany, and, simultaneously, towards their respective country of origin. What is more, and given the recent resurgence in anti-Semitism within Germany and beyond, it not only examines the respondents' nationalistic and patriotic attachments, but also their implications on anti-Semitism. In order to make comparisons, the study also takes into consideration the views of Germans without a migrant background.
