Discussion

This round table will discuss the importance of academic journals, and their editors, in training younger scholars, disseminating and stimulating new research, and encouraging the circulation of knowledge - by commissioning reviews of new academic monographs as well as by editing articles. The three round table participants are all current or former editors of scholarly journals active in the field of Slavic Studies. They will examine how the work of academic editors has changed over recent years; the challenges that editors face; and how to adapt to the latest conditions of academia and publishing.
