Objective

The European Lead Factory (ELF) is a large public private partnership that has successfully enabled access to industrial screening facilities for public parties. All public HTS campaigns for ELF are performed at Pivot Park Screening Centre in Oss, The Netherlands. Over 70 full-deck HTS campaigns have been completed on a library that has grown to 450,000 high quality compounds. The screens cover a wide range of target classes, including a high proportion of more demanding classes like ion channels, transcription factors and protein-protein interactions. Almost all HTS assays have been miniaturized to 1536 format in order to perform them in a cost-efficient manner. The high productivity has been possible thanks to the implementation of industry-standard workflows and efficient interaction with target-owners across Europe. This presentation will show how HTS in ELF has been implemented, provide statistics on the screening campaigns and provide an outlook for future activities.
