Discussion

The paper presents results of empirical investigation into sociological background of the important part of the Polish elite – members of the post-1989 governments. The research is based on theoretical inspirations of Pierre Bourdieu’s field analysis and carried out with the use of both, quantitative and qualitative methods. It will answer questions regarding resources, career trajectories and cleavages within this part of Polish elite.
