Previously, in AZ, she led the UK Precise genome editing discipline contributing to innovation in CRISPR and base editing technologies for the generation of cell models for target identification and validation.
Emanuela is an expert in the study of cell cycle signaling in normal and cancer cells. She obtained a PhD in biochemistry at the Institute of Cancer Research in London where she characterised a novel viral cyclin/CDK complex.
