Characterisation of β-catenin complexes by Chromobody-based intracellular co-immunoprecipatation and DigiWest protein profiling

β-catenin is the central regulatory protein in the canonical Wnt-pathway, which controls essential physiological processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis; aberrant mutational activation of central players of this signaling cascade are found in many cancer cells. The function of β-catenin is controlled by its localization, stability and integration into different protein complexes. We look directly at β-catenin complexes using a novel Chromobody-based intracellular co-immunoprecipitation approach in combination with the multiplex protein profiling platform DigiWest.
